MD&CEO at Adani Vizhinjam Port Pvt Ltd

Rajesh is the Managing Director and CEO of Adani Vizhinjam Port Pvt Ltd, a mega greenfield Container port construction and commissioning at Vizhinjam, Kerala at a Capex of 7525 Crore. He is also the current president of Trivandrum Management Association. He did his Engineering in Metallurgy from IIT Roorkee. He has a vast experience of 30 Plus years in corporate sector. Rajesh started his career from Tata steel in the year 1988 in Blast Furnace  and after that he was deputed to Tata Metaliks in 1994 as chief of operations . Before moving to Adhani Group, Rajesh worked with Steel Majors like TATA Steel, Jindal Steel & Power, Visa Steel and Utkal Alumina International in top management positions. He started his association with Adani Group in the year 2014 as a CEO of Adani SynEnergy Ltd. In the year 2018, Rajesh has given an additional position as the Managing Director of Adani Vizhinjam Port Pvt Ltd. Rajesh is awarded with Udyog Rattan Award by Institute of Economic Studies Chaired by Hon’ble Prime Minister. His other recognitions include GREENTECH Platinum Award by Green Tech Foundation supported by Ministry of Heavy Industries, Government of India, Green Crusader Award by Times of India for Community driven Plantation and Clean Technology, Think Odisha Leadership Award for Best CSR Practices in the year 2008, 2009 and 2011.
